Okay so I was just getting ready for bed (early 11:30) and I used my new toothbrush....

I'M LOVIN THE COLGATE 360!!!!!!

I have recessed gums so I have to use the softest toothbrushes. Clint went and got me a new toothbrush today because my ROTTEN daughter is determined all of a sudden to put EVERYTHING in the toilets and I just got to try it out for the first time.

THIS IS MY OWN PERSONAL TESTIMONY....YOU WILL LOVE THIS TOOTHBRUSH!!!

Life Made Easier - A Review

I KNOW I'm not the only one...always looking for those "great products" that make our lives easier. AM I? Didn't think so. I have to say that one thing that LIVES with me at all times is my Mammas Milk Wipe Pack.

I love the sleekness of the wipe pack. It is especially GREAT while babywearing. I don't have to tote a huge diaper bag. I put my wipe pack and cloth diaper in a clean wet bag and stuff it in my sling or Mei Tai!!!!

Besides the fact that it is SOOOOO PRETTY...it REALLY does hold in the moisture! I loved it so much I got Andrea one for her birthday. I left the same wipes in there for two whole weeks and. . .they felt like they came straight from the store! LOVE IT! Highly suggest it! This is NOT one of those "for cloth diapering momma" things, everyone can enjoy a beautiful new wipe pack!

I will say this though, I DID get a package last week that contained my new CLOTH wipes! So I am converting!

Dogs in the shower!

I'm here finally! I had so much to do last night I couldn't even get a ten minute break. So as I posted earlier...I gave everyone baths including the TWO dogs and gave my Lhaso Apsa a hair cut! I didn't mention that while giving my Lhaso a trim I BROKE our clippers again! I'm thinking that its about time to get some good dog clippers instead of the cheapos! I used to get Louie cut EVERY six weeks....untillll I quit working. Dern! Poor Louie . . .I remember the first time I tried to cut him "in between cuts" , I felt bad to walk him at the park! He was so ashamed! Yes I say HE. Louie KNEW I jacked him up! I took him to the groomer and she just smiled! I've known her for a long time so its okay if she picks on my pooch. I knew she'd hook him up.

Tips for cutting long haired dogs: {It's okay to listen to my advice now...I've learned} She taught me to cut the hair in between their eyes...the hair where all the eye boogers get stuck and then WALK AWAY!!!! Renee suggested to leave it a good half hour then go back...Make sure before you even attempt to clip your dog that you have an hour (or more) and that the doggie has no tangles!!! Basically start underneath the dog...or in an inconspicuous area.....then work your way around. Or you could just clip the tangles and dingleberries and go on your way....way to the groomer that is before you mess up! No I'm kidding but you will most likely have a few fumbles the first few times! Just leave the majority of the dogs head ALONE!!!

So it took an hour just to clean up the bathroom!!! ~ahhhhh what a way to spend Friday night!
Oh and I sent 50 emails back and forth to Heather about NOTHING! Can I say I need help? yep I can say that! Oh in one of her emails she mentioned that EVERYTHING on her site is shipped free! So today JoAnn (She lives in my neighborhood and is a HUGE dog lover) came by and we "walked" Deuce (better yet he walked us for a while ;-)). She has 5 dogs...yep five and she made a bet with me last week to get Deuce...coo-coo. She basically said she needed Deuce as a good strong (that he IS!) roller blading buddy. I bet her that if she could roller blade with him w/o getting drugg her there and EVERY WHERE that she could have my {BEAUTIFUL} 3-1/2 YO boxer. DEAL! Well we walked him today teaching this old dog some new tricks and after about an hour she pulled out her rollerblades. Wait a minute I didn't know you were gonna WEAR him out first. Most boxers are very hyper dogs...Deuce isn't one of those. He is a great inside dog...I feel bad that he has to stay out as much as he does. But as soon as she pulled out these roller blades I had to run inside to get my camera...no way he wouldn't drag her. By the time I got out this is what I saw...

I believe I get to keep my DOG THANKS! But I will take her up on one offer...being a motivation for me to get up every morning and walk with him before the kids or Clint wake up. We are late risers need I remind you? I told her she might have to call several times to begin with and threaten to wake everyone up. Nothing will give you motivation like a little threatning of waking up babies! (and the BEAR!)

Speaking of the bear...can someone inform my husband that a hair dryer doesn't constitute as a mothers day gift (mine blew up before M.D.) even though its a greeeeaaat gift ::coughNOTcough:: but can someone tell him for MOTHERS DAY OR OUR Anniversary I would LOVE one of these!! Or /AND (hint hint wink wink....)One of THESE! The perfect picture would be the one of Terri and Mason HERE!! The silly Wagon {dot} com has the necklaces for 50 bucks! The Vintage Pearl bracelets are $75.00...Hello he can easily swing that! No thought just go HERE and click add to wagon!! I tried dropping hints and ::Ahem:: Ohh look how purdy..(LOL) I should just buy it and wrap it up and give it too myself. If anyone wants his email...let me know! :-D

Rosie Toes Squeakers!!!

So they are finally here....squeak squeak!!!


Andrea called me last week to see if I would be interested in doing a Review on Rosie Toes Squeak shoes!!! This was the same day that I saw them for the first time. I was at the local grocery store and a little girl there was just a squeaking up a storm. It took me a minute to realize that she had nothing in her hands. It was the shoes!! How cute! I was literately jumping up and down in excitement for this little girls shoes. When I got home and talked to Clint on the phone I told him we have got to get Terri Jade a pair of these squeaky shoes. HE then proceeded to brag that he saw them "months ago and was planning on getting Monkey girl some". "ohhhh well then!"

So when Andrea said that Jennifer wanted a review done and that Taite was too young I was ECSTATIC!!!! I had no idea what they would look like nor did I care! I knew they squeaked and thats all that mattered!

The shoes were a little were too big for Terri but by the time she is walking good they should be perfect. They are very flexible! I love how they are so soft on her feet too. I just hate that she isn't walking yet and they are cloth...they are already dirty. I suggest getting the leather ones....She wore them today and stood right up on her walker and began to squeak down the Hall!! TOOOO CUTE!!! Must have for those of you with tiny tots!!! The sizes range from 4-7 if you have a smaller baby I suggest the Baby Bella Maya (soo sweet) or for the widdle widdle guys (or gals) I suggest the Trumpette Collection {Terri had the pink pair of Mary Janes.} ...Andrea just got some for Baby Taite and they are sO darling...she'll definitely be getting some compliments on them!

The original post was done weeks ago but poor Terri Jade got a boo-boo! (Notice the red still under her nose?) So when HEATHER THE WONDERFUL FABULOUS Domestic DIVA sent me this bow I was upset because I wouldn't get good pictures of her in it. (My niece came in town for her birthday so I used her head and face)

I hate I didn't' get pictures of Terri last Saturday night!!! Clint, Terri myself and my in laws all went out to Bone Fish Grill (plug plug...my favorite restaurant...hint hint wink wink...LOL) So Terri wore this sweet baby blue outfit her new sandals and the HAIRBAND by Matica (along with THIS sling)

Before we went in my FIL, Doug made a wise crack about Terris accessories and my MIL replied that she thought it was sweet. Well we all know who has the better taste! Clint told Doug that "Where ever we go people stop Elizabeth and ask her where she gets her stuff and how much they like it" As we walked into the restaurant we passed by tables and as I am used to the stares as of my amazing beauty and Terris gorgeous smile and my Ginormous (it in the dictionary!) hubby...it was nice that my FIL could see that Terri was such a charmer in her accessories (the ones he was making fun of) She got sooo many looks and compliments!! As we sat down a lady at the table beside us started to talk to Terri and tell her how pretty she was w/ her flower. The by the time we had finished eating the table behind us had me writing down site addresses and email address for slings and blogs and hair bows....

My MIL and FIL swear I should go into advertising. I will talk to anyone.

Mamma Milk SolarVeil

This post is long overdue~! I just haven't got a chance to snap any pictures yet b/c I've enjoyed wearing my new Mammas Milk Solarveil so much!!

The day after I got it n the mail I wore it to the Doctors office ...the Library...on a walk!!!! (around the house) I actually got one three weeks ago but I received a small and on my frame I would literately be choking on Terri if I had kept it. Now the Solarveils do tend to "give" a little...but I needed something longer. I like to carry both high and low but not sitting on my breast. They suggest ordering a size smaller b/c they tend to run a size larger.

Here is a picture of my 11YO neighbor wearing Terri in the SolarVeil and it fit her nicely. Keziah comes up to help me with Terri sometimes...which is her excuse to wear my slings, wrap and my mei tai. But her favorite thus far...(Out of the Mouth's of Babes ...come the truth!?! ) is the SolarVeil. It might be that it is my only pink one (kidding), but it is the one that she can wear the longest without pulling or cutting into her shoulder. I have to admit that wearing slings is the quickest most convenient way to babywear but after a while they pull harder on your shoulders worse than MT's or Wraps.

But for some reason I love slings the most...given that I haven't tried many wraps except for at the Babywearing group. But I love the convenience of slings....I love the fact that when I have a really fussy little girl it take 15 seconds to put her in one. Terri and myself went out shopping last Friday and there is nothing easier in 92 degree weather than to pick up a baby and "toss" her into a sling. The SolarVeil is so light that I (the walking furnace) don't even feel like I have something helping me support my baby.

This is a must have if you are a HOT natured person like myself. Also if you have a little sweaty baby...ohh and the benefits for baby are...besides the comfort of being in mommys arms...the comfort of the actual sling its self. Mammas milk slings provide a foam padding in the legs. No more legs that have been cut into by a sling.

So I know what your thinking...ohh my gosh it's HUGE!

No honestly I was a little intimidated by the flowers power it at first! {Just a little!} But you know what? Between my personality and Terris we can definitely pull it off. The creator of MaticaDesigns, Mindy really knew what she was doing when she made this! The band is so stretchy that Terri could probaly wear this for the next couple of years, that is if she doesn't wear it out first! There are also so many different color options. I had a really hard time picking. Actually Heather {The Domestic Diva!!} picked for me! THANKS BTW!! (Mad Props!!)

My advice, you must get one of these headbands by Matica Designs especially if you have a special occasion coming up. They also carry toddler and thinner head bands. This fall we'll be calling on some of those customized hats. I'm loving the cheetah print! Talk about a attention getter. I had a friend say, "at least she won't get lost in the crowd!" Well duhhh isn't that the point? I mean I don't want my baby to take the spot light away from anyone but "HELLO" attention to my little princess is always welcomed!!!

Since I got this last week (the day before Terri messed up her face!!) I had no time to get pictures of Terri in the hairband. Thank goodness Janae (my beautiful head butting, pimp slapping, wanna scratch you face off, give me no kisses niece) came into town!!! The day they left I thought it was perfect that they put a baby blue, brown, and pink outfit on her!!!

It's funny that I ended up using the pictures of Janae b/c she is a "hey what are you putting on me" kind of child and Terri is a "look I can put this on myself" child. I swear I took it off her the other day and she picked it up off the changing table and but it on herself. She loves necklaces and hair accessories. So the bigger and brighter the better!

Lil Sugarplum!!!!

So I for the first time requested to review a product for Lil Sugarplum. Is that not the cutest name for a site? I must say that the owner Monique was extremely punctual to reply to my email. I had been "lurking" around her site for a day or so. I told her I couldn't make up my mind which clips I liked the most so I asked her to choose for me.She sent me Lil' Star Babies Hair Clip in Lavender AND Beauties Hair Clip (notice Terri at the bottom?) in Pink. Both are $6.00 a piece and WELL worth it. Let me tell you . . .they did not slip, did not pull her hair, I could get it to stay in place (thanks to the lil piece of velcro). I love these clips. They also have mommy and baby sets and stuff for the older girls too! I was tickled when I opened the envelope from Lil' Sugarplum and found a cute little pink box tied with ribbon. The clips are VERY well made and you can tell she takes great pride in her work. {and in her wrapping!}
