Photography by Drea...
So it is a definite PERK to have a best friend with a photo obsession! Drea came by the house this afternoon to visit while she was in town. I think it took all of ten minutes before the camera was out.
I figured instead of my typical montage or slideshow, I would throw a picture puzzle at you. YOU hagve too roll your mouse around the pictures to see the ones underneath. They only get better the deaper in the stack you go!
I just HATe that daddy was at the football game today.
(yea we had a wardrobe change midway b/c we had to change out of our church clothes)
You've been hacked! again
HEHE
I couldnt help but post this photo of Elizabeth and I today.
Aren't we just the most ADORABLE MOMMAS EVER! hahahaaha
Wednesday

I would give mine to my new nephew DUE Sept. 5th!!!! I'm giving him Terris carseat....even though it isn't in bad shape it still needs a cover! SHoot I would use this for Mason or Terri if I could!!!
Andrea over at Fina Drea is giving away a FourPeas toddler backpacks. They are too cute... I'm loving the Blue Whale Toddler Backpack. So so cute! along w/ the monkey one on Dreas site!! cute cute cute!!

To Drea
I thought about sending an email or writing a letter...but I'd rather put my heart on my sleeve!
I think back to the quiet girl in school and I think about the friend I have now. I might be babbling now but I know you will be leaving me in a a tomorrow and I am sad. I know your reasons for leaving Ohio and I know why you must leave NC...I must tell you that I think HE has a plan! I know the Lord sent you here to help minister to me and help guide me to where I needed to go. You never judged me and never told me to stop babbling, {you have always been a great listener}. I can honestly say that no matter how far you live I will always consider you a dear friend a best friend. Andrea you have...in your own way...through jokes laughter, babies, photography, and the occasional McDonald's visits...blessed me.
You have taught me how to be a better Christian and a better wife..I AM already A GREAT MOTHER! ;-D
Weather you realize it or not...you guided me to be a wiser ...more loving wife. You have shown me that as a wife I'm more likely to to sin if my words are rash...Prvbs 12:18 There is one who speaks rashly like the thrusts of a sword but the tongue of the wise bring healing. And that by forbearance a ruler may be persuaded, and a soft tongue breaks the bone. Prvbs 25:15. (I'm more likely to be heard through soft forbearing speech...rather than thrash demanding defensiveness) I am trying to be the best Christian I can be. AM I am glad you are here! As I am glad that we moved into the house that we did so that I can have the neighbors that I have. God definitely knows what he is doing! No doubt. Through their kindness and generosity I have made great friends in Rob and Donna. Even though sometimes I feel like more of one of their kids! (kidding...I thought that was pretty funny)
Lessons I've learned in the past few months from my good friends:
A Godly wife is wise and kind. When she opens her mouth to speak, wisdom and kindness flow out. Her wisdom comes from the Word of God and her kindness from the Holy Spirit.
. . . and my most important lesson. . . .
A wife is to submissive even if her husband is not a Christian
I hope that I can visit often and I HOPE that we will never loose our closeness...as I hope that you can help someone else as you have helped to open my eyes.
I'll keep you on speed dial for those random once a day "I need some advice calls"!
SORRY THIS IS SUCH A RANDOM pieced together post but I knew the most important parts I wanted to let you know and I can touch up later!
Oh I will teach you how to say those 3 special words! (my part of the friendship....;-D)
I LOVE you :-D
Thursday
Busy busy momma!
I'm here blogging at one in the morning b/c I can't sleep and I'm sure I won't finish....but its worth it to try and start. To all you babywearing mommas...want a great shot? It was my turn in the nursery at church on Wednesday night...what do you do when you have to chase a few toddlers and have two babies that have to be worn? Bundleboo and a Lite on the shoulder sling!!!
I couldn't resist putting Terris headband on baby Taite! He is too cute! I swear he is too pretty to be a little boy! I need a spoon . . .b/c I could just eat him up! :-D I trotted around the church with the kiddos strapped up...too much fun!
Today..yesterday..okay well Thursday I took Terri to the doctor. She has had this cough for a while...nothing too bad but she is having surgery on the 30th and I can't afford even a sniffle! I have all the faith in the Lord but why shouldn't I try to do everything in my power as well? Any time you have to have a baby put under anesthesia you should be super cautious!!!
After the appt...which I must add went super super quick! Email me if you live in my area and I'll give you the name of a GREAT doctor office! ;-D Afterwards we headed to Andreas house. Since Travis went out of town for the day we figured we would keep her some company! I won't get into the boys ... Andrea mentioned we (her and I) should have our picture taken together with my new and improved hair....photo shoot! I hate to have my picture taken! If you haven't noticed I usually crop myself out or just have pictures of the kids. But the pictures today all turned out great! You have to take a multiple self timed picture just so a few will turn out. Ya know a girls gotta have her options!
So I've been mei tai/sling searching tonight...whats up with all the great sites out there? I sent an email to Heather at Mom4Life and told her that her site make s me want to get pregnant and start working again! Go and just look at all the adorable maternity clothes!I would so still wear some of that stuff!! Not with the babies on it...nooo...I won't mention ::ahem:: anyone that lives in their maternity tanks...and ISN'T preggers!!!!!!
I went to Ball Baby and was loving all the patterns! Whats up with EVERYONE carrying babylegs? Do I want skidpants or babylegs? I know what I like about both better...but I can't figure out which I have got to have! But even they have babylegs!~I just don't' think they'll be ling enough for Terri unless I pay the extra and get the longer ones! geeez! See all this pressure! I should be knitting right now! I need to learn it would so calm the nerves!
Don't Forget...Contests...Pinks and Blues are still doing the Fabulous Summer Giveaway!
Drea is giving away an ADORABLE SET of a onesie and a pair of babylegs! I would take either(black or the pink!) But the onesies only go up to 12months! poo! Terri wouldn't fit with CD on! :-( If I win I'll keep the bbl's tho! te he!
I'm tired I'm going to bed! 1:22a.m.!!!! eeeek!
Friday
Drinkin Mommas...Got the BOOT...and Tagged again!
So yes I got the BOOT from Top Momma ::throw myself on the floor in a full 2YO screaming tantrum:: Look I'm still linking to them even thought I got the BOOT! I hate the way they word their email subject line..."You just got booted from TopMomma.com"
Look I can represent. . .what a big ol fat looser I am!
I am laughing I promise!
So what you've all been waiting for.....the Drinking Pastors Wife....

No we weren't drunk...and yes she does look oriental doesn't she. I would feel bad serving a pastors wife a tequila filled margerita...or would I? Muah ha ha ha ha!!!!! (Just for you Travis.)
Andreas hubby seems to think that I've rubbed off on her...I beg to differ!
Andrea came over to show me how to use Gimp...which I'm still lost.
(VERY hard program to master!!~Go with Picassa!) and she basically USED me to pick out a new Mei Tai and check her emails....LOL!!! It was hilarious...we went to Mamanista and saw a contest for a Lindie and Friends Doll and the doll I picked for Terri was Beatrice (Andrea choose Billy for the resemblance of Caleb!!). Andrea then began to laugh and tell me a story of when she worked for a local Insurance co. and how one day she looked a customers name and asked her BOSS "who would name their kid BEAT - RICE?" L O L what a nerd....then she said on another instance she asked "Who would name their kid PIN-O-LOPE?" for Penelope. Was she secretly hitting the "juice?" IDK!! (kidding) Oh my what if she comes home and says that I have to delete this post!! LOL!!!!!!!! *I'm seriously laughing out LOUD!*
Here is the Picture above of us (in comparison) edited with Picasso....
Here is the other 10 second timed ("lets take another to make sure it turned out good'')picture...
I'm lost b/c of my pointless rambling...okay a question for you....is it okay in your church to consume alcohol? I'll admit I do...occasionally...mmmm dry red wine. yummy...LOL and a margarita yummy. But since I go to a Baptist church now I thought it would be taboo....guess not. Ohh well to drink not to drink your personal preference!
Katja from skimbaco.com Decided to TAG me!
Here are the rules:
A. Each player lists 8 facts/habits about themselves.
B. The rules of the game are posted at the beginning before those facts/habits are listed.
C. At the end of the post, the player then tags 8 people and posts their names, then goes to their blogs and leaves them a comment, letting them know that they have been tagged and asking them to read your blog.
Here we go:
1. I'm over the top, loud and proud, too opinionated, RANDOM, and wacky!!! (and I ♥ it!)
2. I have a touch O.C.D. ...My linen closet is perfect. I have to fold all my towels, wash cloths, and sheets the EXACT same way (and all of the towels and w.c.'s are color coded...a stack of whites, blues, and reds!!) This might go with #2 but my closet....(ready?) all my shirts are hung in the top white to black (short sleeves) then black to white (long sleeved) ...if that isn't bad enough...my dress pants are on the right and my jeans are on the left....all hung so the tag is out.
**NOTE: I wear almost none of these clothes...and most I hate all of them**
3. I am BOUND and DETERMINED. . .to help anyone anytime I can. I am a people pleaser....I try to make sure everyone has a smile on their face while I'm around.
4. I have traveled to 35 states...excluding....AK, OR, WA, ID, and the Northern states. (Ya'll can't handle me!)
5. I love food (I could never ever be bulimic or anorexic!!), and I like to cook, Usually when I cook a large meal I make enough for 2 elderly neighbors and Nic-Nics family(of 6!).....(just a main course). :-D
6. Oh back to # 2...I say a touch...b/c I (this is awful) have to have certain things PERFECT but....if I can't do it right I won't do it at all (or until I have time). I have a basket of clothes sitting on my side of the bed that are clean and mostly folded that have been there for 2 weeks...I have my hallway taped and ready to paint now for almost 2months (I keep telling my DH to pick me up a roller!) and I have a FRONT closet that if you try to hang your coat up I might need you to sign a waiver (I'm kidding its not that bad....;-O)
7. I have freckles under my left breast...did you need to know that? prob. not...
8. My most important goal in life is to be a good mother and a good wife.
(COPIED FROM Katja! ;-D)
Oh and I'm addicted to....... and !!!!!!!! and () {} []!!!!!!!

Switching to Wool?
Yes I did get a really sweet package the other day! I have wanted to try wool since I started cloth diapering. At a the baby wearing group that me and Andrea go to in our local area I met Jessie (the really sweet woman that gave me the lavender Moby)...she also gave me alot of great advice about cloth diapering. When I told Jessie that I had a made an order for Bumgenius she told me that they were more work than prefolds and wool. I never imagined she could be so right! I just knew at the time that I had a very small budget to buy cloth diapers and I knew I blew it on the ones with all the bells and whistles!
So the package Jude sent me was sooOOOooooo nice!! I opened it and was in awe! Jude sent me this stuff because her eldest was cloth diapered and with her daughter she just didn't have the time! So she felt like they were gong to waste. YAY 4 ME!!! The package included 4 small Aristovcrats, a medium (I think) Aristocrat and a Pink Babyology with a monkey on the butt! (size small) since Terri isn't a fluffy baby she fits the smalls just fine. I would like to sell them eventually and get mediums.
To all of you that are weary of soakers and pins and snappies and leaking....listen up! I am a laid back momma . . .if she poops she poops...whatever. Poo doesn't bother me. Even thought the past few days there has been more that usual and I've missed (getting her to the potty) a few times. I put a soaker on her the other night with a good prefold (and really reasonably priced!) an insert (that I got on sale for a dollar!!) and a liner. Seem like a lot? Okay I was being cautious! I had never let a baby sleep in a soaker before. I didn't want anything to go thru.
So she woke up yesterday morning at 9:45(!!!!!) and was dry to the touch (the soaker that is) her insert and prefold were soaked!!! The liner was surprisingly still all together! I immediately had to call Andrea. . . "Your never gonna believe this!!!" So I changed her about 10 and by the time Andrea got here yesterday at 1:30 I had the same diaper on her just so she could see. I took the diaper off and vwalla (however you spell it) no leakage!!! I'm sold! I used the same soakers alternating them all day yesterday and last night! I'm sold!!! I will definitely be taking Jesse's advice and saving my BumGenius for "outings"!!!
If you are new to Cloth Diapering there are so many different ways to go...I've heard alot about different diapers leaking and certain ones being better for fluffy babies and ones that you shouldn't use for babies with thin thighs but I've never heard any complaints on WOOL!! I think I've been converted!! I do have this one suggestion. . .if you want good "thirsty" prefolds CLICK HERE! They are the best quality for a really low price!! If you want a really good "Flushable Liner" (It says flushable but its on you whatever you put in your septic system!!! ~warned!) CLICK HERE! And if you need a good absorbent (adjustable too) Insert CLICK HERE!!!
I will add this . . .If you are in need of some cheap (cost) diapers or covers go to Thirsties Outlet!! They might be seconds or slightly flawed but I've heard wonderful things about these products!! I see they have some flannel wipes and new diapers on sale...hmmm? flannel wipes and a purple diaper...oooOOooh
--Don't get me wrong. . .I LOVE my BumGenius!!
Hopefully I'll get a Hautes or two (for some purple)--
Andrea, her husband Travis and the boys all cam back yesterday and I made dinner. Which I must add that I will be giving her my recipe for my squash casserole (I've been trying to tell ya'll I'm country!~I'm in my 2O's and I make casseroles!) and even if you hate squash like Andrea claimed too you'll love this!
TIP: Great way to get picky eaters to eat veggies...smother it in cheese!
After they all went home Andrea came back to teach me how to use my new picture editing tool I just downloaded and we played a little with the pictures from yesterday.
Here is Terri in the pink wool soaker (with the monkey on the butt!)

I'm such a happy hippie momma!!!
So I'm not a hippie...I shave (everything~underarms and legs), I don't think I've ever owned any organic cotton (nothing against it~just can't afford it.), I will use disposable diapers and I love old navy.
I do however love to garden, eat fresh fruits and veggies, my one year old is a cloth diapered baby and I breastfeed. What else? Okay I am a non bra or make up wearing woman... So am I a hippie? hmmm. . .
The point to all of this? My style... I have a good friend Brenda that is half mexican. She gave me this beautiul handmae skirt on Saturday so I got a chance to wear it on Sunday after church... hmmm... on the walk.. nature called ... I answered, while babywearing! Andrea was umm... I dont know how to explain her reaction :-) She was freaked out... but it was just so easy to tuck your skirt up into the wrap and mm.... squat!
I was down in a creek.. so no one saw, I swear... I think...
I hope.. LOL LOL LOL!!!!!!!!! Here the pictures...
Here is her post . . . .she was a lil scared to tell on me. ahh ha!
Tuesday
Boys will be boys *warning: long post! ~rambling done in the first 2 paragraphs*
So this morning Andrea called me around 10:00am. To most of you thats mid morning, to me well its early. I haven't always been like this....I go through stages. Terri gets up around 7ish and then after her milk she is really ready for bed. Some mornings she doesn't get up at all till 9:30. (a couple times till 10am) I know what your thinking.."man she's lucky" and Yes I know. Plus she takes a two hour nap mid day and a good 30/45 minute nap in the late afternoon. Ya'll are seriously hating me right now!! Mason well booger boy would sleep till 11 EVERYDAY if I let him. He is such a night owl!!!! I get him to sleep between (typically) 10-11:30. What? He is my little late night story reading, sleeping with mommy while daddy is gone buddy!! He isn't going to school till next year so he's fine. Actually he's been asleep by 9:30 almost EVERY night for the last two weeks ::patting myself on the back::
*mental note: send a thank you email to the benadryl people, and remember to go to the store tomorrow for a refill* {I'm completely kidding or am I? hmmmm?}
Man now ya'll see why the title of my blog perfectly suits me!!!!! Point???? oh yea I have become such a night owl myself b/c of my husband (thanks again hunn!!!)point? (I keep loosing my train of thought) Oh so we don't get up and moving till 10 or 10:30. Sorry early risers!!!
Okay so Andrea wanted us to go to the park with her..."ok let me get them all up". Nicolas (Masons bestest friend stayed here today b/c his mom started a new job.) So as soon as I got everyone loaded up we were off. Can I just add that it was a ga-gillion degrees out side and I hate to sweat! I need some shorts and new tank tops that cover my bedonk! So we get to the park and Andrea is already there.
I have to say that she has two beautiful little boys (Caleb and Taite). But every time we have gotten together we have to keep reminding Caleb and Mason both how to act. Mason can be very antagonistic at times. (note: he's a little boy) and Caleb has gotten a little whiny the past three or four play dates. (note: he is a little boy) Its hard when you have a 4 1/2 YO and a 2 1/2 Yo that are the same size. Mason doesn't understand that Caleb is still a "baby" and that he thinks everything is his or he wants what you've got. It is a stage I'm all to familiar with. Caleb also doesn't understand why someone his size is correcting him (Mason tends to do that TOO much~in my opinion) But I just hate it that Andrea feels that she has to apologize for Calebs behavior. I've seen him be very sweet and loving and I've seen him very whiny. But 99% of the time after he is reprimanded he gets back on track. Mason on the other hand is going through the "I know you think I'm cute...Let me see what I can get away with" stage. AHHHHH! {BTW he is cuter in person~just my personal opinion!!!} But I just wanted to post to remind her (and myself) that no matter what the stage a child is going through (weather it be trying our patience, not obeying, temper tantrums, not minding, not minding, whining, more whining terrible twos, did I say not minding?) they wouldn't call them stages if they didn't eventually grow out of them. (I hope that made sense!!)
Andrea with Caleb and Taite at the Park
Terri chugging a juice box
Terri still chugging a juice box
Terri in Taites solarveil (I MUST HAVE!!!!) probably peeing out all that juice
*********************************************
Here are some stories that I found to REMIND US that no matter how "bad" they are being at the moment they will say or do something sweet the next (moment that is).
*********************************************
The kindergarten teacher is trying to explain to her class...
...the definition of the word "definitely" to them. To make sure the students have a good understanding of the word, she asks them to use it in a sentence.
When called upon the first student says "The sky is definitely blue". The teacher said "Well that isn't entirely correct because sometimes it's gray and cloudy".
Another student says "Grass is definitely green". Teacher again replies "If grass doesn't get enough water it turns brown, so that isn't really correct".
Another student raises his hand and asks the teacher "Do farts have lumps?".
The teacher replied, "No, and that is not a suitable question for class discussion." The student replies, "Then I definitely pooped my pants".****************************************
One particular 4 YO little boy prayed, "And forgive us our trash baskets as we forgive those who put trash in our baskets."
****************************************
A little boy was overheard praying: "Lord, if you can't make me a better boy, don't worry about it. I'm having a real good time like I am."
****************************************
A Sunday school teacher asked her children as they were on the way to church service, "And why is it necessary to be quiet in church?" One bright little boy replied, "Because people are sleeping.
LITTLE BOY QUOTES!!!!
“ Boys are beyond the range of anybody's sure understanding, at least when they are between
the ages of 18 months and 90 years.”
“There comes a time in every rightly constructed boy's life that he has a raging desire to go somewhere and dig for hidden treasure”
“One of the best things in the world to be is a boy; it requires no experience, but needs some practice to be a good one”
“Some parents say it is toy guns that make boys warlike. But give a boy a rubber duck and he will seize its neck like the butt of a pistol and shout "Bang!"”
“When I grow up I want to be a little boy.”
Oh dear God please don't let Terri go through that (horrible) little girl whining stage...I heard it will make you go prematurely grey!!! Oh NO I've got a little girl...that only leaves me . . .what? like 9 or 10 years before she starts to menstruate and I have to move to Tahiti!!!
Oh and go to my posts about contests if you haven't signed up!!!!
Monday
Chuch Picinic
Oh and I'm not so smart b/c I brought Mason and Nicolas a water gun and (duhhh) I didn't think about the twenty other kids that were there. . .not smart! The kids eventually got the bright idea to get cups and just throw water on each other!! Smart kiddos!
Ohh and they also had a raffle to give away PRIZES . . . and guess who didn't win a prize? (Hint: ME) and guess who did? (Hint: Drea)!!! BOYCOTT?? uhh yea!
Thursday
Throwback Thursday . . .
Throughout high school I dated an older guy (much older) so I never hung out with my classmates outside of school. With the exception of maybe two or three girls. I was voted most outgoing for our senior class but yet I really didn't like that many people. I was one of those girls that would make fun of those people who thought they were cool or better than everyone else. I never picked on the "nerds" (why would I? They were doing my homework.) I hope people weren't afraid of me, maybe they were who knows? I did get into a couple fights in HS and I can only tell you what one of them was over. I think that stems from me being raised by my dad who was disabled and me always being defensive. Never having alot of money growing up (growing up "poor" and country) makes for a VERY defensive teenager! Andrea said that I was always so trendy . . .? Ohhh kay . . .I REALLy wasn't concerned with the latest trends. I had an after school job so I HAD to buy my own stuff . . .Clint and me were talking about Andreas post. I asked him honey was I trendy? He said Trendy? LOL He said if you were your dad didn't contribute!! I can't remember the last time my daddy (yes I STILL call him daddy) bout me clothes . . .maybe I was 12!?!? IDK But I definitely appreciated everything I got and I hated to see all these snobby girls walking around with their abercrombie and designer bags and they (probably) didn't so much as even do a chore at home let alone an after school job. (I didn't get home till almost midnight in my junior and senior years!) All so I could have a lil extra money. I really didn't start to get to know people until I got out of school.
My father told me years ago that when I die if I can count my close friend on one hand then I'm doing good. . . .well Daddy back then I thought you were crazy because my closest friend would fill up two hands or more. But as an adult today I'll be the first to admit that YOU WERE RIGHT! I don't even talk to two of my bridesmaids anymore, how sad is that? But I sincerely feel that I can now add one more friend to my hand!:-D Every since Andrea has moved back to NC I have felt sort of a release in her. (That probably doesn't make sense) She has a way of calming me and letting me know that everything will be alright. Most of the time just hanging out with her makes me feel a little bit more peaceful. Every since before she moved back she has been sort of ministering to me and assuring me that I am in fact making the right decisions in life.Showing me that I can in fact be strong and show my husband what a good CHRISTIAN is all about! And she also great for a mid day crisis call and a park prayer! ;-) So here is a picture of ME and ANDREA a couple weeks ago. If you want to see some baby pictures(a comparison shot go to her blog)
I also found a picture of a class Andrea and myself had together. Notice I'm the center of attention? (I added that JUST for you ANDREA!) Where is Andrea you say? Could she be the photographer? NOPE!!! She's the tiny little speck in the background. (If that isn't you you were some where in the back!Outcast!!!!!) She was so unsociable!! And bitter!!! I'm totally kidding she was shy though. Or at least not as "outspoken" as myself and the rest of the girls.
Oh and BTW I do occasionally get to talk to the girl beside me and the two on the top towards the right, but none of us are anything close like we used to be. People listen and listen good. . . highschool is very superficial! (Isn't that the word I'm looking for?) You go there not to learn like you should be you go there for popularity and who is wearing what! Who cares? You won't in 7 years either! (Ohh and btw this is one of the days I had to work afterschool hince the cute matchy matchy outfit) ohhh and on question 4 of my about me post the other day I did say that my best friend Amanda, CLint and my self all were in a class together in 10th grade Here is the picture of them two. Clint now a lil bulkier and
Amanda now has threekids and I still think looks the exact same!

Well I hope no one thinks I'm a B**ch! I used to be and well I still have my moments but for the most part I'm nice! (and LOUD, & outgoing, & boisterous at times, & at maybe misconstrued as crude sometimes, & often intrusive but but always cordial! :-D Yep thats me!)
Tye Dye Thursday?
Well actually we did it yesterday afternoon . . .but what sounds better Tye Dye Thursday OR Tye Dye Wednesday? Well today is going to be pretty busy so I'm going to make this short and sweet. DYE with toddlers! Nervous? I wasn't . . .::giggling:: we weren't at my house!!! Ahhhh ha ha ha
Andrea and myself have been planing this for a few weeks now, we've had teh dye for what? like two weeks. Its been hectic for the both of us. So we finally made plans for yesterday afternoon after everyones naps (except big boy Mason of course)
Andrea had the great idea to tape off words and sayings in our shirts . . . .(I'll let You in on a little secret) that crap doesn't work!!!!
Well of course she had her camera out. (I figured shes better to ALWAYS have it on hand than I am.) So I had to wait for the pictures to bne emailed to me. :-( Typically I'll give her great credit but last night she didn't even email me the pictures she just EXPECTED me to use her video montage! OH poo!!(She's already done all the work for me!! POO!!!) LOL!!!!!
Lets get started!!!! Notice I'm wearing an old tye dyed shirt? Kinda trying to get in the mood and if I splash ohhh well! [I can't say the same for my polo shorts!!:-( ] I'm just glad I didn't get anything on Andreas Mei Tai!!

Ohh monkey is on the back because she was in a HORRIBLE mood right when it was time to actually start dying! And right when we got done tye dying she commenced to pulling out every bit of hair she could get her hands on. . .ya know just cause it was in her way I guess!
I especially like this one of Andrea and Caleb!!

This is of course when we caught them being so cute.
While Drea and myself were doing all the prep work they were running around like wild men and watching Madagascar (fudge I forgot Masons movies again!! You have to remind me!!)
Heres a GREAT picture of me well being me!!\
U KNOW U want me to come over and teach u how 2 T.D.!!!!

Ohh and hows this for hospitality? Andrea let CALEB turn the sprinklers on while we were tye dying! I had to grab his umbrella to his sand box and go move it!!

Well were off to Clints grandmothers house!! To grandmothers house we go . . .the horse knows the way to carry the sleigh . . .sorry i got carried away!
Ohhh GOODY sleep over tonight at my house almost forgot! Yeah right! Forget Nic Nic? NEVER!!

SPANKING!!!!
I had another post I wanted to do today. . .but since this morning I have CHANGED MY MIND!
I wanted to write about SPANKING!!!
If you haven't been over to Dreas blog I strongly suggest you do. There is a heated discussion on spanking! The sum of it is that she did a post on being "Fed up". Caleb her two and a half YO is waking up too early in the morning and he is miserable most of the day. Thus causing her and everyone around them to be miserable. If you have or have had a two year old you KNOW how much energy they use. They are CONSTANTLY into everything and going going going!!!
Basically this morning she was "fed up" with his early rising and she told him (after diligently taking him to the rest room and putting on a fresh pull up) that he needed to go back to bed. I believe that it was 6:30 am! Well my children don't get up until 9 (ish) so it is very easy for me to say you have to "train" your child to sleep. Which also goes back to having some sort of bed time routine. But I think she has tried everything possible and now she just got "fed up"!
So she puts him back to bed and him being the very obstinate two year old that he is he doesn't obey. . . hence the "poon on butt" or so he calls it!
But for her writing her thoughts on her blog she has been insulted by a few commenters and been called names. Yes I repeat called names...like lazy, irresponsible, mean? how can you be mean for disciplining your child? You brought him into this world. You must discipline!! However it works best for your family. As God's gift, He has entrusted us to help our children develop and to fulfill His plans for them. If we really love our children we need to discipline them early and consistently. You MUST stand by your words! If you tell them not to do something and they do it any ways you have to stand STRONG. People wonder why there are vandalizing teenagers, rapist, thieves. It starts in most cases when your children are young and are disobeying and ARE NOT BEING REPRIMANDED! Weather it be by spanking taking away privileges or denying them play time. I don't just walk around all day spanking Mason and Terri. I don't thrive on it. But when needed I DO it! " . . . the Lord disciplines those he loves. . "(Hebrews 12:5-6).
Don't get me wrong when I spank I feel bad afterwards but I know that I have to lead my children to learn for themselves what is right and wrong. I also believe that it is harder to change an unruly 8 YO than it is starting with a child Terris age. Ohh and I DO POP Terri on the hand to!!! Ahhh ha! Thought I just "beat" the boy uh?
Your discipline style (whatever it may be) depends on your logic of thinking. Your logic is also based on your own personal opinion! You must do what YOU feel is right.
I'm a little burnt out on the whole spanking subject . . .But I hate to see it when children are acting LIKE lil CRAZIES and their parents are AFRAID to spank them in public. Or worse yet think that them disciplining tooo harshly will cause your child to hate you and "need therapy"!!
To all you crazy children raising parents . . . get off your butts and do something with your BRATS! They are making my kids think it's okay to act like that!
{Okay off to the park today., . . wait. . . Look one of them just threw sand on Terri and the other one is pushing Mason off the slide.}
Ohh and if you live in MY HOMETOWN. . . and your lil snot nosed brat does something like that to my kids and you don't do anything . . . you better believe I'll tell the lil twirp to quit acting like a brat! I'm all about embarrassing a "slack" parent.
Ohh and to whom ever said I should be embarrassed for my comments again I say I will never not stand up for my beliefs or my friends!
Ohh and I have to add this in. . . I have a tendency to step in and discipline other peoples children. If this bothers you I am sorry. I do it to my neighbors children (if they are here and not behaving they can go home or to timeout.) and even to Andreas son yesterday. (He slighty pushed Terri and took HIS sippy cup from her then threw it on the ground) I told him he was being ugly and that he needed a time out. I did stand up and tell him he was misbehaving b/c his mommy was inside and his daddy didn't see what he did. DOn't get me wrong I would never spank someone else's child without permission. (I do spank my nieces and my best friends kids if needed) But I think us as parents should have each others backs and if your child or mine is acting out we should TELL them! We shouldn't just let it go undisiciplined. I remember as a child living in this small town (much smaller then) . . . If I were to get into trouble at my great grandmothers house or any of my aunts and uncles, they would SPANK Me then send me home. By the time I got home I would EXPECT ANOTHER SPANKING. (To mew that was a bit extreme) But as a result I would ALWAYS be on my BEST behavior in public!!!! If your wondering my great-granparents lived across the street, three great aunts and uncles lived on either side and behind us. (I grew up on a 7 acre farm so it gave them time from me walking from their house to mine to call!) What i"m saying is tell children (even if they aren't yours) to act right! and have some respect for their elders!

Photography by DREA
Nahh I'm kidding!! Today was fun! LooooOOOONNNNnnnnG (LONG) but fun.
I didn't go to bed until 3:30a.m. I don't know whats wrong with me. I just cannot go to sleep. SUCKS for me!
I got up @ 8:00 and did the mommy thing. . . then got us all dressed (we left daddy in the bed:-D) and then headed to the local flea market.
My husbands grandmother owns a building there and has been there every weekend (except for weddings and funerals) for the past twenty+ years.[I really do have to start bringing my camera!!] SHe sells a lot of collector swords and knives!! Mason knows not to touch but he sure does feel extra special b/c he gets to go behind the counters. :-D He likes to look at the jewelry and the "don't touch" items.
So after the HOT, sweaty, misereable, lovely day we packed up and headed home.
Andrea had called me this morning to ask if I wanted to (finally) get my family pictures done. I've been avoiding pictures but yet wanting them for a while! I am not photogenic but I guess I have to get in the picture to have it count as a family photo. Wait . . . can I get a stand in on family photos? NO? CRUD!!!
Well I'm actually typing this a lil prematurely.
It is 9:00p.m. and she hasn't even sent me some of the photos yet. . .
At least I can do my typing and then just throw in the picture and HOP in the BED (that would be nice)!!!!
In at last in at last!!!!!!
Here they are ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ ~ > On Andreas Page. . . and here!!!!
Ohhh ONE of my favorites is this one. . . .
Ohh yeah I'm not going to forget to THANk Mrs.Andrea. . .for spending her time with us and capturing these moments for US!!!!!
Thanks girl. . ."poo on wall?"

Hang them Diapers Girl!!
ANYwho Me and Drea were on the phone yesterday and somehow got on the subject of wash day. In this case I'm talking about washing our cloth diapers, not just regular ol laundry.
["Hey Andrea are you doing your towels? Don't forget to add your fabric softener" I'm laughing~I hope you found the humor in that!!]
Well I think I asked her if she dried her diapers in the dryer. (yes she does) I told her how I hang mine. She (Obviously) ;-D thought it was a good idea! Because last night we were IMing about what our post was gonna be today and she sent me the link to a picture of all her diapers hung!!! HOW FUNNY!! I know what all of you are thinking . . . "I stole her post idea!!" I'm a dirty blog idea stealing diaper hangin momma!!! MWAHHHH HA HA HA HA I promise I wasn't gonna write about this or at least just a picture or two but Ya'll know how I run off on tangents.
So for all you experienced cloth diapering mommas out there. . .check out my invention. . . patent#0325032545132165432135464 ~L~O~L~

Open "pail"
This particular trashcan has as thick black removable liner....I take it out and either spray Lysol
or Lemon Pinesol !!!(and then rinse out the pinesol of course)
Clints number one concern when we got cloth was too much upkeep and "the smell" of a nursing home! Well if I hadn't of told him he probably would have never known. But i do need a good wet bag.
