Can someone tell me why my 4YO LOVES blackeyed peas soOoo much? He got up at 9:30 tongith and asked for a snack while handing me a can of blackeyed peas!?!?!? I got up to go to the kitchen and stopped by the potty, by the time I got in there he had the hand held can opener out of the drawer and on the lid of the can. How could I say no? I heated them a little and sat and watched him eat half of a can. Then a kiss....

I don't even know what black-eyed peas are but my kids won't eat any type of peas. At least he eats healthly snacks!

OMG-I love Black-Eyed Peas! I grew up in NC, and they were a staple in our diet. My kids like them. I think the funny name has something to do with it!
